This year was good , almost too good. There were so many fruits that I had to think twice and stake every branch. You see the tree with about 20% left, the sun was creating a nice view and I couldn’t resist to take a photo.
This year the fruit was also sweeter as I remember.
Very good quality as expected.

Picked up all you see on the photos today. All poms are ripe.
Now, what do I do with so many??

Re: Parfianka 2020
What I plan on doing when I have too much to consume fresh is to can them, I have bought a jar of pomegranate arils in pomegranate juice at markdown, they were imported from Turkey and the best if used by date is still about 2 years away. There appears to be no preservatives in it. I have not tried them yet, although if they are the acidic kind of pomegranates, acidity is a preservative to some extent.
Re: Parfianka 2020
This kind of scares me knowing the number of trees that I'm growing lol. I have thought quite a bit though about what to do when I get too many poms. Juicing immediately comes to mind, you could even ferment it to preserve it longer or infuse it in kombucha. As for the arils, I was thinking that they could probably be blended and used as grains for bread, granola, or an attempt at an oatmeal base. That's kind of my plan a few years down the road when the harvests start coming in huge.

Thanks, guys !
We made a smoothie yesterday with bananas, strawberries, pomegranates, and yogurt. It was seriously delicious!
My little son said that would be favorite breakfast from now on.
