This site was developed after a conversation in October 2019 among myself and a friend while discussing pomegranate growing in cold regions. At that time my knowledge of pomegranates was very limited but I was extremely interested in learning as much as I could about different varieties and their traits.

This forum was established to record information pertaining to pomegranates and enable users to engage in discussions related to documentation and research. Members of this forum are conducting trials to determine the most cold hardy, early varieties, with the purpose of expanding pomegranate growth throughout cold regions of the United States.

By 2025, I hope to have a large enough selection of mature, fruit bearing trees to begin releasing data that will be of value to others.
