This season was an overall success in the garden. All three of my trees from last season fruited this year. My Kazake yielded somewhere around 25 poms! Although only two ripened to a substantial size, today I picked my first Kazake. The taste was excellent. A perfect blend between sweet and tart with a slight spice to it. Next year these should grow to full size.

Very nice! How hard are the seeds?

The seeds were a medium hard. Definitely could feel the difference between this vs Wonderful.

Thanks! For me Wonderful feels hard, and you say that Kazake is harder. I will keep this in mind.

I need to go buy a Wonderful and compare the two... Kazake is really tasty. I don't recall the seeds being noticeably hard but I could well be wrong about that.
