My little son invented a new recipe
He likes to eat the pomegranates and he likes to each Cheerios but didn't have enough room for both, so one day he says: why don't I mix them?
We did and instantly liked it!
I think for this dish you need soft seeded sweet kernels since you eat the mix with a spoon.
Try this, surprizinly awesome.
That would probably be good with corn flakes as well, when I was a kid we used to put strawberry preserves with corn flakes. I don't like eating any pomegranate arils because of the seeds, yet I have not tried the softer seed varieties yet, only the ones I'd call medium/soft 'apparently called soft by a lot of people', and the hard seeded ones.

The seeds of my Parfianka I cannot feel with Cheerios, they are as soft as raw sunflower seeds.
I probably wouldn't try this with Wonderful, they are too hard .
I love eating my Cheerios with poms! It really adds to the flavor, especially if you like the heart healthy kind. Another good one is mixing the arils in with steel cut oats. Literally my favorite breakfast/cereal combo!

Wow! Gotta try this one too, so easy to make. Thanks!

Salavatski is another one with very hard seeds, it's a shame that there is no cereal like lucky charms 'without marshmallows', that would most likely be good with the arils too.
