I have a scion about 30% thinner than the rootstock.
I was thinking to use budding or chip technique and to graft 2-3 buds. Will budding / chip work on pomegranates?
Another way is cleft but in 3-4 years it’s going to look very ugly when the joint becomes very thick. Basically, it will take but I don’t like the look.
Any suggestions?

Re: Pomegranate grafting question
I have never tried bud grafting, only done research on it, yet this person does a pomegranate bud graft, make sure to turn on the closed captioning which is in English https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSZIOk6fnAk

I had some fun today! It’s not the best time of the year but this is when I’ve got wood to graft. I hope they take.
