What to do with poms??

Post by Go0setrails »

Hi all,
What do you guys do with all your fruit?
Here, we spend countless hours processing the fruit and running it through a juicer.
Not the purest, but if you let the sediments settle and just pour the top, it’s pretty much sediment-free (until you get to the bottom and it’s sediment-only). I get in trouble for not shaking, but hey… I like the good stuff 🤷‍♂️

I haven’t done any juicing yet, we eat them fresh .
I make a lot fig jams but I don’t have a good recipe for the poms. Juice is in a low demand for me. I am a beer guy :)

I don't get a large enough crop yet to juice. The last few years I get maybe 3-4 ripe pomegranates. I generally tend to just eat the seeds. Sometimes I'll put them in my oatmeal, Cheerios, or chicken salad lol. I like experimenting with different dishes.

PS: That juice looks amazing!

@pombazaar
From what you’ve told me before, it sounds like you will have a crazy amount of fruit! May take a few years, but man, it’s gonna be worth that wait for sure!!

After eating them, I am not going back to the hard seeded unless the poms are for juicing.

Another week, another ridiculous amount of fruit to go through.
2 tubs full already processed & a big bowl still to go! (Most will go through the juicer soon)
