First ripe Desertnyi 2021

Post by greenfig »

Delicious!! Much lighter skin than the later poms but the same inside. Large and juicy :)
As good as I remember them, I love this time of the year.

Beautiful pomegranate! I love the contrast between the light hull and dark arils. I successfully rooted one of these late in the season last year. It didn't survive the winter because it was really small when I had to winterize. Next year I'll be adding this to my collection.

Soft-seeded like Parfianka minus the wine taste?

Even more stunning! I cannot wait to add this one to the collection. I had one in 2020 but it was too small and didn't survive the winter :(
