Hello all.
I'm new to growing pomegranates having purchased a Parfianka about a month ago. Given that I live in a cooler environment, I expect that it will live it's entire life in a pot. I have a variety in my small backyard orchard (peach, pear, plum, apricot trees and 9 kinds of berry plants) and have added fig and pomegranate this year for something more unusual around here. Looking forward to chatting and learning more.

Re: New to Poms and Pombazaar
Welcome, @coliva. Parfianka is a great soft seeded pomegranate. Our Parfianka came from Dave Wilson Nursery and has pink arils that taste a bit like pink lemonade. Other people say their Parfianka pomegranates have red arils. When your Parfianka fruits, I hope you'll let us know what color its arils are.

@crademan , my Parfianka has very red arils. In fact, my avatar is a last year’s Parfianka. It tastes like a good vine with deep flavor. It is not very sweet, it has some acidity with a kick
