I recently purchased an Al Sirin Nar (very excited) and a Phonecia (impulse buy) from Rolling River Nursery. The trees arrived a couple of days ago but they sent me a Alk Pust Ghermez Saveh instead of the Al Sirin Nar. I called them and they were very apologetic and are going to send the Al Sirin Nar. Their only request was that I don't let the Saveh die. I, of course, was not going to, but I know nothing about this variety, nor do I know its reputation. I googled it and found a couple old posts on a fig forum from... greenfig (!) about it.
Has anybody tasted the fruit from a Saveh? How is the tree? Do you still have it, greenfig? Any information would be appreciated. I usually do a lot of research before I purchase a tree (so I can convince my wife we "need" it), but I'm in the dark here.
Alk Pust Ghermez Saveh (I know nothing)
Re: Alk Pust Ghermez Saveh (I know nothing)
Interesting and congrats!
Saveh as a word exists in several pomegranate names and I did talk about a “Saveh “ but that was a different one
My question was based on this variety:

I am not sure if yours is the same or not. I would ask Rolling River for more info
