Hi folks,
I've got two students who are raising money to come with a class I teach to the Peruvian Amazon this spring - I'm helping them out by offering to give them the money from my pomegranate and fig cuttings this year, so if anybody is interested, I've got the following varieties available for a donation. Some of these are really cold hardy - more hardy than Salavatski.
Salavatski
Uzbek (the most cold hardy pom I've been able to find - I've only got a couple small cuttings of these)
Eight Ball - Hardy Black Pom - haven't trialed it in-ground here yet, but survives in 8a in SC
Melgar - the famous black pomegranate from https://permies.com/t/50248/Growing-Bla ... nate-Fruit
And Deve Disi - another very hardy one, original mother plant was from Turkey, I think.
Let me know if you're interested - I'll probably post additional varieties soon. As much as I love trades, I'm focusing on getting my students to the Amazon at the moment!

I’m interested in Salvatski, eight ball and Melgar. Let me know your requested donation for sticks and how to get it to you.
