Cultivar name: White
Synonym: White Sweet
Origin: the Middle East
Imported to the USA by: Chico State University, which is located in 'Chico, California'
Nursery that started selling the variety: L. E. Cooke
Fruit Size: Small to Large
Hull color: Yellow with a pinkish or reddish blush, mainly to one side
Aril size: Large
Aril color: Translucent 'rose pink'
Seed hardness: Did not check, yet not hard
Flavor profile: Sweet, yet a lot of flavor
Hardiness: Cold hardy, no damage at least down to about 11 degrees Fahrenheit, bush has not experienced colder yet.
