I have the fastest to flower in 2 years for real (ie to produce fruit) and just for kicks, I’m 5 months

Dang, that's quite impressive! How big was the fruit your second year? I have one or two cuttings that I'm rooting now that are also flowering. They fall off after about a week lol

I haven’t tasted it’s fruit yet, just got a few Azadi cuttings to root last winter. Surprisingly, it looks like they have all rooted

I have not tasted this yet but I'm trying to gather as many varieties as possible to collect data on them start a breeding study. I'm particularly interested in some of the lesser known varieties. There are actually dozens in the GRIN repository that have little to no info on them. I bet there are gems in there waiting to be discovered! The Incredible Pomegranate lists the following info on this variety. UCD and WEO results were vastly different.
UC Davis: Soft-seeded, sweet-tart.
WEO: White aril. Very Tart. Very hard seed.
