Big Cuttings
Re: Big Cuttings
@pogrmman, how are those cuttings from last year doing? If you have a picture it would be awesome to see the progress!

Re: Big Cuttings
About half of them root successfully for me, yet apparently with bottom heat a much higher percentage of them root successfully.pomgranny wrote: Tue May 05, 2020 11:54 am
Also - (this is why I put this post in this category) . . . Are these soft cuttings usable for propagating? I stuck a few of them in water. Of course they wilted. But, I wondered if they would root if put into starting medium. ????
Re: Big Cuttings
Unfortunately, I lost them during the big 2021 freeze. It was growing great, but I had them inside our house and we lost water and power. I had too many things to try and keep wet and they dried out and never came back :/pombazaar wrote: Fri Jul 16, 2021 2:27 am @pogrmman, how are those cuttings from last year doing? They did do really well initially, though! Still amazed I got them to root.
I grow double flowered, unknown fruiting ("Wonderful"?), and "Red Silk"
