Hey all,
Last night I finally found roots in one of the pomegranate cuttings (Sirenevyi) I'm trying to root. I'm so excited!
Do you guys have tips on how to take care of it and when to up pot it? Is it the same as figs? because I have rooted many fig cuttings.
Thank in advance.

Re: Rooting Success!
Congrats! What method did you use for rooting?
I personally don't up pot until the container I root in is close to being root bound. This should happen for you by mid/late Spring. You'll notice that the buds will start to break and shoots will start to form soon. Make sure it gets good light and water it moderately or as needed. When you see lots of roots and vertical growth, that's when you want to up pot.

I dipped the cuttings in Clonex, warped them in parafilm, and stuck them in clear plastic cups filled with 55% Peat moss and 45% Perlie. Bottom heat was applied at 78f. Surrendering air is controlled at 69-72f @ 50% humidity. Took 20 days until they rooted.
They all started budding out as soon as there were visible roots. Currently they all heave at least 2 pair of leaves. Same method failed to root any of the Parfianka cuttings.
