I received this lemon tree from a local fruit grower. It is called a Gondhoraj lemon. These are very popular in Bangladesh and it is said that even the peel is edible. I thought that the shape of these lemons were very unique and wanted to attempt growing citrus again. They are grown successfully in containers in Michigan and produce an abundant crop when cared for properly. Cutting will be available next year!

Re: Gondhoraj lemon
Hello,
Just saw your post about the Gondhoraj plant. Would you have any cuttings that I could buy from you?
Thank you!

Re: Gondhoraj lemon
It died after it's first year unfortunately. I will try to get in touch with the fellow who sold this to me and see if he still has any. Check your inbox.

Re: Gondhoraj lemon
Interesting, and somehow I missed this post, I have the real genuine of the following variety, it's lemons can be eaten whole, although not everyone would like to I'd imagine, still makes you pucker a bit, and grown out of the area it grows best, it's most likely not a sweet. Sadly the tree is too small and weak to get cuttings from it.
You should not only get the Bangladesh variety again, you should try to get lemons from the person as well, so that you can get an idea what they are like https://foodplace.info/Bountiful_Figs/v ... c.php?t=64
