Grafting
Grafting
I did 13 cleft grafts onto some of my crepe myrtles and Russian 26 pomegranate of Kara Gul, Chernaya Rosa, Parfianka, Medovyi Vasha, Ambrosia, and Golden Globe. Hoping to get the dark skinned varieties to cross with some of the large and some of the better tasting ones to get big good tasting dark skinned varieties. Still looking for Melgar if anyone has scions of that and eightball (or other dark fruited varieties).
Re: Grafting
I look forward to seeing your results. If you're trying to cross breed I would suggest a more controlled approach so you know specifically what is crossed. With your approach you may end up with something very notable, but if you control your environment you'll have a greater chance of attaining a more desired outcome.
