Re: How do you fertilize your trees?
That makes no sense to me, in countries that pomegranates are traditionally grown, they don't go heavy on the nitrogen, and they get large crops. Even trees in the wild in Malta get decent crops, which means no nutrition added to the soil.

Re: White pomegranate for christmas
It's hard to find any kind of pomegranate fruit this time of the year, unless it's imported from some place like Chile, even then I have never seen white pomegranates imported from that country.

Re: 2020 Cuttings Request
We got eight ball last spring, yet it's too small to provide cuttings, maybe in the future, unless someone else on this forum could give you cuttings sooner. If not then you could technically buy a plant of it here https://www.plantdelights.com/collections/plant-delights-introductions/products/punic...

Re: Pomegranate Festival?

I think that you have to be a member of 'California Rare...

Re: Anyone have experience getting fruit in zone 5
Zone 6b I believe is the coldest I have heard of someone getting pomegranate fruit with the aid of a greenhouse, and that person brings most of the pomegranate bushes out during the spring, he has one in the ground too, not sure if it had time to ripen fruit or not. In Zone 5 I am guessing that the ...

Re: Pom taste test,late Oct.
My Ariana was almost indistinguishable from Parfianka for me, very class and not as tart as you had; Based upon what I have read I am wondering if maybe 'Ariana' and 'Parfyanka' might be the some pomegranate variety, or very similar. And that 'Parfianka', 'a different spelling' might not be the sam...
