Regarding the #124 and #15 controversy I think it'll only play itself out when enough people request both directly from the NPGR and grow them out.OC CRFG still has access to NPGR scion but I fell asleep at the wheel and the request period is long gone.I've never seen these tree's,having not visited ...

Hi Igor,

Yes,the Ariana improved greatly in the last couple of weeks,much sweeter.The one I ate today was better than any of my Parfianka's this year.Just a stunningly beautiful classic Pom.I think some of these varieties like to see temps below 40f before they really hit peak flavor.

Regarding seed softness I think the Parfyanka was softer.Those had just been picked and probably benefited from the rain,the Parfianka came out of storage.

Hi Alan,
The Parfianka,was sourced from Dave Wilson and it's growth is more bush like.Arils are smaller and it appears to hold more acid.

The Parfyanka was sourced from Ed Valdivia who received it from the NCGR in Winters,Ca.Arils are larger and it's sweeter.

Kara Kolivsley=Karakalinski DPUN 118

These 2 are different varieties IMO.

Parfyanka=DPUN # 124

Parfianka=DPUN # 15
