Re: Controlling Whitefly on Citrus
Many of the white flys around these days seem resistant to about all chemical control.
About the only thing I have found that works well is....
Water !
A VERY forceful spay on the underside of the leaves , on a weekly routine, will keep them at bay.
A summer type horticultural oil may also work

So just to be clear here ..
My goal is ....for winter hardyness... Fist..!

Re: Hyrbidization ideas
So I could agree with a~ 6-8 ft spacing if you thought they would all survive? What I have is a bunch of seedlings that I have grown out from seed of several plantings in Ga. These are 2yrs old , in tree pots, over wintered inside last 2 yrs. about 3ft tall. Multiple shoots bigger than a pencil. Hop...

Yet I find little good info on line about pruning poms. Do you thin branches to get more growth on the remaining...

Bush or Tree
Most poms I have seen growing are a bush form with multiple trunks. That is the way they seam to want to grow. But I have seen photos of very old tree forms with a single trunk. Would a single trunk form be a advantage? Focusing the energy of growth into a smaller area. Would they be more resilient ...
