I was amazed to walk outside this morning and see this! The amount of flowers on this tree has doubled what I saw last season with lots of female flowers. Last year my Kazake yielded about 25 fruits with 2 of them being substantial size. I'm anticipating an incredible season ahead :)

Nice flowers! I hope you have enough female blooms to set the fruit.
How old is this tree?

I sure hope so too! I went outside to check today and there are quite a few female flowers but not as many as last year it seems. This tree is 4 years old, it came from Rolling River.

Nice looking tree! I got some cuttings from this variety this spring and could not get them to propagate. Is this a variety that's hard to propagate? thanks.

Thanks! What was your method of propagation? I have almost 100% success if I root in water for about 6-8 weeks. Kazake shouldn't be any more difficult than other varieties.

@greenfig, It's a little late in the season but the tree is now loaded with female flowers. I have until mid November so I think these will still ripen.

It propagates as well as most other pomegranate varieties.

Update 5/27/2023:

Year 5 going strong! Last year I severely neglected my Kazake and it didn't put out a single flower. This year I'm protecting from extreme sun exposure, watering as needed, and feeding with Mammoth P.

Update 6/24/2023:

Way more flowers and clusters of flowers. I've been hand pollinating every few days with a q-tip to increase potential fruit yield.
