As the title says. I am curious if anyone has any photos of ripe fruit. How early they were for you ?
Are they just sweet or have some tartness?
Also, anyone has a photo and feedback of Sverhranniy?
Thanks!

Yes, for the first time. Two fruits (nearly) matured and... I didn't get to try them. Here's my reply to our exchange regarding MV over on the hedge thread:
Medovyi Vashsha was probably going to be amongst my earliest and that, I guess, appealed to the opossums who promptly took both fruits. (I’m guessing it was opossums, I didn’t actually see them take them.) I tried this variety once before and it was very sweet, juicy, with very tiny and soft seeds. I’ve heard/read that the names means “honey” but I don’t recall a noticeable honey flavor when I tried it… just really sweet and juicy.

Bummer
Thanks for your reply! I am planting it and Sverhranniy this year in a not very sunny spot (for California), I hope it will do well for me.

Yes the name means 'Honey Vashsha' in Russian. When honey is in the name of a fruit variety it usually means 'very sweet' and nothing else.
