2020 seedlings

I selected the largest kernels and rooted the seeds. Surprisingly, it took only a few days before the roots appeared. I used a moist paper towel method .
As soon as a seed germinates, I pot it up. Some I kept inside and some I moved outside. The seedlings grow quite fast, 3-4 ft in a year.

Looking forward to seeing how your seedlings turn out. I know a guy who planted hundreds of pomegranate seeds from pomegranates that be bought at his local grocery store. I was told that one of two of them turned out to be cold hardy and a handful of others had rather interesting traits.
I'm trialing a Wonderful seedling in ground this year in 6B with a covering over it. Last year it died to root but shot up like crazy this spring and took on a beautiful shape. I'll have pictures in a few months if it survives the winter.

They are doing very well. I moved them outside a week ago to get some tan

Our winter is over, 70+ outside already.
I expect them to be 2 ft tall this time next year.

I started a compost pile a few years ago and apply it regularly to my raised beds. The number one "weed" I pull from my garden is pomegranates...
