My current "cuttings request" list for a breeding project is:
For flavor and seed hardness
Parfianka
Medovyi Vasha

For fruit size
Ambrosia
Golden Globe (unless anyone knows of a larger fruited variety than Golden Globe)

For skin color
Eight Ball (I have a tiny seedling of this)
Melgar
Kara Gul
Nero Zanarella
Kandahar large Black
Romman Couall
Noir de Portugal
Asmar
Chernaya Roza

If anyone has any of these let me know. I'll be buying as many as I can from fruitwoodnursery.com otherwise.

I'm glad to see you're doing breeding work also! I should have a bunch of Parfianka available this winter. I did some heavy pruning earlier this year and will have even more once everything goes dormant.

I have an Ambrosia tree that needs to be pruned back this winter. Remind me then and I'll send some out.

I will have a lot of Parfianka this winter too. Let me know if you need any

I may have some Medovyi Vasha available, I haven't surveyed what, if anything, needs to be pruned on mine just yet.

I’ll have Melgar, C Rosa and eight ball this winter.

Update:

I got cuttings of golden globe, medavyi vasha, ambrosia, parfianka, chernaya roza from fruitwoodnursery. Have a TINY eight ball growing, but would like to try grafting one.

Kandahar large Black
Romman Couall
Noir de Portugal

If anyone gets any of these let me know!

I will have Desertnyi, Sin Pepe, and Sirenevyi cuttings this winter. They are not on your list but in case you change your mind , I can give you those cuttings.

I am making sure that you know that there are two different Melgar:

01) Melgar #1 (overall this is the best one)
02) Melgar #2 (this one does have a very unique color to the new vegetation growth. and it grows faster than #1)

I will not know until spring if I have any spare 'Melgar #1'
